to use, as a means to the purposes herein described, research, publication, the establishment and maintenance of charitable, benevolent, development and research activities, agencies, and institutions. To aid any such activities, agencies and institutions already established and to utilise any other means, persons, or agencies which shall further the purposes herein set forth.
The objectives of STAR will primarily be actualised in the following tasks:
to work towards the advancement of research in the language, literature, history, and the culture of the Tajik people.
to establish and maintain a professional English language school to facilitate adults on every proficiency level in the acquisition of English as a foreign language. To ensure the school operates according to principles current in Second Language Acquisition.
to publish and print educational and research materials.
to develop a data base of information relevant to the goals and tasks of STAR.
to organise and participate in seminars, conferences, symposiums, discussions and round tables in cooperation with other organisations and associations for various projects and programs proposed by researchers and developers.
to offer assistance to those who will participate in STAR projects.
to support and develop connections between STAR and other similar international organisations.
STAR may also develop its work into any of the following areas:
to solicit support for collaborative research and development projects.
to translate educational materials from English to Tajik and Tajik to English.
to transliterate materials from Persian to Tajik.
to provide basic English and pre-orientation services to Tajiks going to the United States, United Kingdom or other English-speaking countries and basic Tajik and orientation services to Speakers of English coming to Tajikistan.
